How much alcohol is planned for the tour? Do I need an accommodation?
We will drink approximately 15 ounces of beer per establishment over a total of 3 hours. The quantities are sufficient to appreciate the different products and make you have a good time with us. It is by no means a drinking bout.
However, some beers may have a higher alcohol percentage than others. It's up to you to judge and to consume responsibly. If necessary, your guide will be happy to suggest places to eat well before returning home.
Should we leave a tip for our guide? To waiters and waitresses?
Tipping your guide is optional, but highly appreciated, especially if you enjoyed your visit. The amount is at your discretion and may vary depending on your satisfaction and the size of your group *.
In most establishments, your guide will serve you your drinks. If not, we will take care of the tip to the waiter or waitress ourselves.
* For your information, the tip in the service industry is normally between 15 and 20%.
I don't like beer or I don't drink alcohol. What are my options?
If you don't like beer, we love you anyway. We will replace your beer tastings with another alcoholic drink. Please notify us in the remark section of the booking process.
If you don't drink alcohol, that's fine! Contact us before making your reservation. We will send you a special code that will reduce the price of your tour.
I have any dietary restrictions or allergies. Can I participate?
Be sure to let us know if you (or anyone in your party) have an allergy or dietary restriction when making your reservation. For example, we may replace some snacks with vegetarian options or replace your beer with another alcoholic beverage. Note, however, that all of our beers contain gluten.
What should i wear?
We do not enforce a strict dress code. (You're on vacation after all!) Be sure to wear closed-toe shoes, however, so you can access the brewing facilities. We therefore suggest that you leave your sandals at home.
Remember also that the tours take place rain or shine. So take a quick look at the weather before you leave.
Are my children welcome?
For the tour of the Old Port of Montreal, minors are unfortunately not admitted in some establishments.
For the Limoilou and St-Roch tours, children are admitted. Keep in mind, however, that the tour lasts 3 hours and is aimed at beer lovers ... You know your children better than we do, but experience has taught us that you will probably enjoy your tour more as a couple or with friends.
I am from outside the province. What is the legal age for consuming alcohol in Quebec?
The legal age is 18. You will need to confirm that you are 18 or over when making your reservation.
